An elevator door diagnostic device and an elevator door diagnostic method are disclosed, which diagnose the soundness of a car door and the soundness of a landing door separately in a high-precise manner. The elevator door diagnostic device comprises an elevator door provided with a car door arranged in an elevator car and a landing door arranged in a landing; a door engaging part enabling the landing door and the car door to be engaged; a drive force detecting part (19) detecting a drive force of a motor driving the elevator door to open and close; opening and closing detecting parts (15, 16) detecting the opening and closing positions of the elevator door; and a door diagnosis part (30) diagnosing the abnormal state of the elevator door. In the state that the car door and the landing door are not engaged by the door engaging part, the door diagnosis part learns reference data and diagnosis data of the drive force corresponding to the opening and closing positions of the car door and diagnoses the abnormality of the car door according to the reference data and diagnosis data of the car door and a specified normal drive force range of the drive force corresponding to the opening and closing positions. |
