PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for satisfactorily transferring a metal foil to a fabric.SOLUTION: The textile printing method includes a pretreatment step S11 of applying a pretreatment liquid to a printing surface of a fabric, an adhesive liquid application step S12 of jetting an adhesive liquid to the printing surface to form an adhesive layer after the pretreatment step, and a metal foil transfer step S13 of bringing a sheet having a metal foil formed thereon into contact with the adhesive layer to transfer the metal foil to the adhesive layer. Preferably, the textile printing method further includes a base layer formation step of jetting an ink for a base to the printing surface, to which the pretreatment liquid has been applied, to form a base layer before the adhesive liquid application step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
