PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gathering device which can enhance work efficiency while so suppressing consumption power as to be a specification value or lower.SOLUTION: A gathering device superimposes sheets delivered from plural sheet feeding parts on each other while transporting the sheets thereby forming a sheet bundle. The gathering device comprises a determination part 74 for determining a maximum processing speed which can be set as an upper limit value of a processing speed of the gathering device on the basis of the number of used sheet feeding parts which are used for formation of the sheet bundle. In the case where the acquired number of used sheet feeding parts is less than the a specified number, the determination part 74 so determines the maximum processing speed as to be a larger value compared to the case that the number of used sheet feeding parts is equal to or more than the specified number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
