PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bubble removal method for a droplet discharge head which enables efficient removal of bubbles within the head.SOLUTION: A bubble removal method for a droplet discharge head carries out a step (S1A) of purging by pressurizing from the supply side, a step (S1B) of purging by pressurizing from the recovery side, a step (S1C) of purging by pressurizing from both supply and recovery sides at the same time, a step (S2A) of purging by pressurizing from the supply side while driving a piezoelectric body, a step (S2B) of purging by pressurizing from the recovery side while driving the piezoelectric body, and a step (S2C) of purging by pressurizing from both supply and recovery sides at the same time while driving the piezoelectric body and executes initial filling of a circulation type droplet discharge head 10 with a liquid. |
