PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card capable of efficiently transmitting/receiving data even if a communication error occurs, a portable electronic device, and an IC card processing device.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the IC card includes a communication part, a division part, a transmission part, a detection part, and a re-transmission processing part. The division part divides data to be transmitted to an external device. The transmission part intermittently transmits division data with an error detection code added thereto to the external device through the communication part, with predetermined non-transmission periods apart. The detection part detects, in the non-transmission periods, that an error notification indicating the failure of reception of the division data is transmitted from the external device. When the detection part detects the error notification, the re-transmission processing part re-transmits the division data with the error detection code which has been transmitted at the last minute from the transmission part. |
