<p>The present invention discloses an Arabidopis thaliana transcription factor gene, as well as the encoded protein and the use thereof. The Arabidopis thaliana transcription factor gene provided by the invention is one of the following nucleotide sequences: 1) the DNA sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 in sequence listing; 2) the polynucleotide encoding the protein sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 in sequence listing; 3) the DNA sequence sharing above 80% homological with the DNA sequence defined by SEQ ID NO: 1 in sequence listing and encoding the same functional protein. The protein encoded by the Arabidopis thaliana transcription factor gene is the protein with the amino acid residue sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 in sequence listing, or the protein derivatized from SEQ ID NO:2 with one or a few amino acid residues of substitution, deletion, or addition in amino acid residue sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 and sharing the same activity with the amino acid residue sequence of SEQ ID NO:2. The gene of the invention can be used in cultivating the plant variety with the stress tolerance such as drought tolerance, salt tolerance, oxidition tolerance and etc.</p> |
