<p>[PROBLEMS] To eliminate skin troubles including rashes, scrapes, and skin chapping even in the case of persons sensitive to chemical or physical stimuli and, simultaneously therewith, to improve the humor absorption rate. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An absorbent article (1) which comprises a liquid-permeable surface sheet (3), a back sheet (2), and an absorbent (4) interposed therebetween, wherein that side of the surface sheet (3) which is to be in contact with the skin has been coated with a phosphorylcholine-group-containing polymer. When the absorbent article (1) has, on the side to be in contact with the skin, vertical gathers (7) and (7) and/or nonwoven side fabrics (9) and (9) disposed at both sides, then it is desirable that the phosphorylcholine-group-containing polymer be applied also to these vertical gathers (7) and (7) and/or nonwoven side fabrics (9) and (9).</p> |
