<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk wherein identification information recorded in an auxiliary information recording area can be reliably read. <P>SOLUTION: A recording layer of a disk surface is classified into at least a main information recording area D1A and the auxiliary information recording area (BCA) D1C, a groove is formed in the main information recording area D1A, a bar-code-shaped mark M showing identification information is formed in the auxiliary information recording area (BCA) D1C and a groove G1 or a pre-pit for tracking having a depth shallower than the depth of the groove formed in the main information recording area D1A is formed in the recording layer in the auxiliary information recording area (BCA) D1C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
