<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a startup time of a fuel cell module through faster raising of the temperature of the fuel cell besides gas-heating. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell module comprises a control section 35, a first heating section 31, and the fuel cell. The first heating section 31 heats an oxidant gas 2. The fuel cell is supplied with the oxidant gas 2 and a fuel gas 1 to generate power. At startup, the control section 35 controls the fuel cell so that a preset first current is passed through the fuel cell, and also controls the first heating section 31 so that the oxidant gas 2 has a present first temperature at startup. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
