PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely achieve the automatic generation of footprint or object having layer configurations by using user know-how. SOLUTION: This printed circuit board CAD system is configured to perform parameter inputtable shape definition about a pad stack, and to make an arithmetic processor 1 generate the pad stack configured by overlapping internal objects configuring footprint for every layer from data input for each parameter following the shape definition by calculating layer configurations customized based on a prescribed design rule and the overlap coordinates of the internal objects.
