PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable terminal equipment capable of transmitting actually what kind of contents the preserved contents in the portable terminal equipment are to the user of other portable terminal equipment and coping with a service for accelerating the distribution of the contents. SOLUTION: The portable terminal equipment has a video telephone function for transmitting and receiving video images and voice to/from the other portable terminal equipment. While utilizing the video telephone function, when transmitting the data of prescribed contents to the other portable terminal equipment, the data of the prescribed contents are degraded and then transmitted.
