PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling sliding member having improved lubricating performance and a longer service life even under conditions in which great contact stress acts thereon, and to provide its manufacturing method as well as a rolling device having improved lubricating performance with the rolling sliding member. SOLUTION: A deep-groove ball bearing has an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2, and a plurality of rolling elements 3. To the contact faces of the inner ring 1 and the outer ring 2 with the rolling elements 3, namely rolling sliding surfaces, micromachining is applied with the irradiation of a short pulse laser having a pulse width of 1-5ps to form fine recessed portions. Portions of the rolling sliding surfaces to which the micromachining is applied are covered with lubricating coats of solid lubricant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
