PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid drop ejector which can prevent a fall of print quality due to unnecessary liquid or foreign substances remaining on the nozzle surface, and can prevent an increase in cost of a wiping member for removing the unnecessary liquid or foreign substances. SOLUTION: The liquid drop ejector 10 comprises a head 20 for ejecting a liquid drop depending on image information, a means 48 for oozing out liquid N from the nozzle of the liquid drop ejection head 20, and a wiping member 50 where a first wiping portion 56 for spreading the liquid N oozed out of the nozzle onto the nozzle surface while moving along the liquid drop ejection head 20, and a second wiping portion 58 for wiping at least the liquid N spread by the first wiping portion 56 are formed integrally.
