A polycarbonate composition having good thermal stability for use in LDS, comprising in parts by weight 60-90 parts polycarbonate, 2-30 parts LDS additive, 0.1-5 parts heat stabiliser, and 0.3-3 parts antioxidant; the antioxidant is composed of a hindered phenolic antioxidant and a phosphite antioxidant; and the heat stabiliser is composed of a metal compound, a layered double metal hydroxide, and an ultraviolet light absorbing agent. The content of each component of the polycarbonate composition for use in LDS is optimised, particularly the use of the metal compound, layered double metal hydroxide, and ultraviolet light absorbing agent in combination and the use of the hindered phenolic antioxidant and the phosphite antioxidant in combination, such that each component achieves a synergistic effect, greatly suppressing the thermal degradation of the present polycarbonate composition for use in LDS and improving the mechanical properties and processing properties of same; during the moulding process, the polycarbonate composition for use in LDS does not affect plating and is resistant to precipitation, solvent extraction, and salinisation. |
