Disclosed are a SIM card authentication method, a terminal and a system. Only user authentication information is stored in a SIM card and necessary storage space is reserved in the SIM card, while communication tasks are accomplished by a baseband system, and other needed extended functions may be extended by terminal software. In this way, a user can use one SIM card to move freely among different RATs (TD, WCDMA, CDMA) by changing different terminals or multiple modes of a single terminal. |
