PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus which is capable of discriminating which direction sound is heard from, and a sound output system.SOLUTION: A portable electronic apparatus includes a plurality of microphones 41, an input direction identification unit 43 which identifies an input direction of sound on the basis of sound inputted to the plurality of microphones 41, a storage unit 44 which stores a plurality of tables which are set in accordance with the input direction of sound for adding surround effects to sound, a processing unit 46 which selects a table corresponding to the identified input direction of sound from among the plurality of tables stored in the storage unit 44 and adds surround effects to sound based on sound data on the basis of the selected table, and an earphone 48 which outputs sound to which surround effects have been added by the processing unit 46. |
