PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power supply system capable of suppressing progress of battery deterioration that may be caused accompanying with insulation diagnosis on a path through which charging/discharging is performed on a battery.SOLUTION: A power supply system includes a charging/discharging device 50 for performing bidirectional power transfer between a battery and a commercial power supply. In the charging/discharging device 50, a DC/DC converter 56, a capacitor 59 provided on the secondary side of the DC/DC converter 56, a step-up unit 70 for applying voltage for insulation diagnosis to the capacitor 59 by using power from the commercial power supply or an auxiliary battery, an insulation diagnosis circuit 75 for performing the insulation diagnosis on a path through which charging/discharging is performed on the battery, and a voltage detection circuit 74 for detecting the capacitor 59's voltage are provided. The charging/discharging device 50, after the insulation diagnosis is performed, transfers energy stored in the capacitor 59 to the primary side of the DC/DC converter 56 so that the capacitor 59's voltage becomes equal to or lower than the battery's terminal voltage; and, after that, starts charging/discharging operation on the battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
