PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently determine a combination of rearrangement processes to be executed.SOLUTION: A data arrangement device 10 calculates evaluation values 13a, 14a for rearrangement processes 13, 14 that change the arrangement of some of a plurality of unit data items in a storage unit 11 that are generated on the basis of an access pattern. The data arrangement device 10 selects one influence extent level from among influence extent levels 15, 16 in which the magnitude of extent of unit data influenced by a change of arrangement is different, on the basis of the evaluation values 13a, 14a and coefficients 15a, 16a correlated to the influence extent levels 15, 16. The data arrangement device 10 determines a rearrangement process to be executed from among the rearrangement processes 13, 14 on the basis of the magnitude of an extent indicated by the selected influence extent level. The data arrangement device 10 updates a coefficient correlated to the selected influence extent level on the basis of an access condition after the determined rearrangement process is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
