PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image decoding method that enables continuous decoding processing and display processing in coupling two pieces of moving image data prediction-coded between frames, without the need to change a parameter in a header of original coded moving image data.SOLUTION: When coded moving image data includes: information indicating that the moving image data is created by coupling second coded moving image data after first coded moving image data; information indicating that one or more coded pictures are removed, the coded pictures being coded after a coded picture at the head of the second coded moving image data subsequent to a node of the first and second coded moving image data; decoding delay correction information; and display delay correction information, a moving image decoding method includes correcting a delay in display of the coded picture at the head on the basis of display delay information, and correcting a delay in decoding of pictures subsequent to the coded picture at the head on the basis of decoding delay correction information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
