PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when exhaust air return means is installed in a general-purpose grain dryer enabling drying of soybeans, etc. to dry soybeans, if exhaust air return amount is increased to raise a temperature within the grain dryer, adhesion of dust in the exhaust air on the surfaces of the soybeans increases, leading to deterioration of appearance quality of the soybeans and thus provide a grain dryer that can easily ensure good quality of soybeans by reducing exhaust air return amount compared to drying of chaff, etc.SOLUTION: A grain dryer includes: exhaust air return means for supplying part of exhaust air to a hot air chamber (11); and grain type selection means (55) that includes beans in grain types to be dried. In the case where beans are selected by the grain type selection means (55) and automatic operation is performed, a control device (17) reduces exhaust air return amount during a drying operation of the beans compared to that during a drying operation of chaff when an input parameter value acquired during the automatic drying operation is the same. |
