PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform specular working of a surface of a difficult-to-machine material at short time at high accuracy.SOLUTION: A grind stone is formed by dispersing an abrasive grain mixture into a mixture of rosin and/or a rosin derivative, a synthetic resin whose softening point is equal to or less than 200°C, and/or natural resin, for achieving the grind stone comprising proper viscosity and hardness. The specular working of the surface of the difficult-to-machine material is performed by using the grind stone, grinding of the surface of the difficult-to-machine material and lapping can be performed in a same step, so that processing time can be significantly reduced and dimensional accuracy of the difficult-to-machine material which is processed is also maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
