PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical support system which allows a user to easily recognize the state of a region in the actual time inside a living body of a patient.SOLUTION: A medical support system comprises: a region model generation unit 110 which generates data of a three-dimensional region model on the basis of a tomographic image group of a patient; a first feature point extraction unit 120 which extracts position information of a first feature point having a prescribed feature; an ultrasonic model generation unit 130 which accumulates ultrasonic data acquired by using an ultrasonic probe and position and direction data of the ultrasonic probe by associating them with each other and generates data of a three-dimensional ultrasonic model by using the ultrasonic data and position and direction data; a second feature point extraction unit 140 which extracts position information of a second feature point having a prescribed feature from the three-dimensional ultrasonic model; a deformation unit 150 which deforms a three-dimensional region model so as to overlap the plurality of first feature points with the plurality of second feature points; and a display unit 160 which displays a projection image of the three-dimensional region model deformed by the deformation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
