PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect leakage from a heat exchanger in an apparatus for producing food and drink.SOLUTION: A production apparatus, in which food and drink having flowability are subjected to heat treatment and then subjected to cooling treatment, includes a heat exchanger for cooling 14 provided with a cooling element 34 cooling the heated food and drink by a cooling medium. A conductivity detector C2 for a cooling medium which detects the electric conductivity of the cooling medium flowing through a cooling element 34 detects the electric conductivity of the cooling medium in a state where a liquid having an electric conductivity than that of the cooling medium flows through the heat exchanger for cooling 14. Leakage of the cooling element is detected based on a detection signal of the electric conductivity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
