PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel sensor used for an information terminal device with a touch panel having a decorative layer shielding light in a frame-like manner, the touch panel sensor disposing the decorative layer on a side of the touch panel sensor so as to satisfy concealment properties and design properties and improve productivity, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A touch panel sensor has a sensor electrode on both front and back sides of a transparent base material. In the touch panel sensor, a white-based decorative layer is formed in an area excluding at least part of an external connection terminal part, the area being a non-active area including an area over circumferential wiring on both front and back sides of the transparent base material. The decorative layer is distributed on each of the front and back sides of the touch panel sensor so as to reduce film thickness of each decorative layer. Thereby concealment properties, design properties and productivity are improved in the touch panel sensor and by a manufacturing method thereof. |
