<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet repeater capable of being constituted in a simpler manner than conventional packet repeating installations. <P>SOLUTION: The packet repeater has label adding means 6a to 6c for adding a first label to a packet received at a transfer rate lower than minimum guarantee bands determined at every flow, and adding a second label to the packet received at the transfer rate exceeding the minimum guarantee bands. The packet repeater further has a packet disusing means 7 for disusing either packet with the added second label, so that the transfer rate of the repeating packet does not exceed a limit band when the transfer rate of the repeating packet exceeds the limit band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
