<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost smart key system favorably applicable to a saddle type vehicle whose space for installation of parts is limited. <P>SOLUTION: The smart key system 200 of this saddle type vehicle 100 is composed of a control unit 10 mounted on a vehicle 20 and a portable unit 40 to transmit the response signal 42 on the basis of reception of a request signal 41 sent from the control unit 10 via a transmission antenna 12. The control unit 10 includes a control part 15 to make authentication of the smart key system 200, while the control part 15 is formed in a single piece with a reception antenna 11 to receive the response signal 42 sent from the portable unit 40, and the transmission antenna 12 is connected electrically with the control part 15 and arranged separable from the control part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
