PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod that comprises a plurality of rod pipes jointed each other so as to have an appearance of a fishing rod made of natural bamboo.SOLUTION: A fishing rod of one embodiment of the present invention includes a first rod pipe and a second rod pipe, in which a handle-side edge portion of the second rod pipe is jointed to a tip-side edge portion of the first rod pipe. In one embodiment, the second rod pipe includes: a thin and long blank; a decorated layer formed on an outer surface of the handle-side edge portion of the blank by an ink-jet printing so as to have a design of natural bamboo joints; and a coated layer formed on the decorated layer by a die-coating so as to have a design of a plurality of filamentous lines extending in a longitudinal direction of a fishing rod body. |
