A operating method of a user terminal supporting HSDPA, comprising: a user terminal sending a message carrying information indicating the user terminal's access capability to RAN; the RAN allocates carrier resource to the user terminal according to the information indicating the user terminal's access capability; the user terminal transmits data on carriers allocated by RAN.
