<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide PTT-based conjugate fibers which do not cause problems such as troubles in knitting and weaving processes, such as fiber breakage by the mutual entanglement of the fibers in the knitting process and fiber breakage by white powder caused by polymers and oligomers in the weaving process, and further troubles such as dyeing unevenness and drabness by the deposition of the oligomers, when dyed, and have excellent post-processability in a knitting preparation process, a weaving preparation process, a dyeing process, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In a polytrimethylene terephthalate conjugate fiber, the conjugate fiber includes a single filament group of two kinds of polyester components laminated to each other in a side-by-side manner or an eccentric sheath-core manner, at least one of the polyester components is polytrimethylene terephthalate, and the composite fiber satisfies the following conditions: the content of trimethylene terephthalate cyclic dimer in polytrimethylene terephthalate is 2.5 wt.% or less, the fiber-fiber dynamic friction coefficient is from 0.2 to 0.4, the degree of intermingle is from 2 to 60 point/m and/or the number of twists is from 2 to 60 T/m and the fiber size fluctuation U% is 1.5% or less, at least 0.1 cN/dtex of shrinkage stress at 100°C, and the crimping is expressed before boiling-water treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
