<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot wedge for a generator stator and a related method. <P>SOLUTION: The slot wedge (30) includes a wedge main body having a top face, a bottom face (38) and an opposing pair of tilt side surfaces (28), and at least the opposing tilt surfaces (28) are covered by an aramid fabric (32).
