A hood latch structure for a vehicle is provided to secure an impact absorption time and an impact absorption space in order to maximize a pedestrian protective effect even in a narrow place, which results from a rotary structure of the hood latch. A hood latch structure for a vehicle comprises: a front end module carrier(10); a hood panel(30) installed on the top of an engine room in order to selectively open the engine room of a vehicle; a hood strike(40) pivotally arranged in a lower part of the hood panel; and a hood latch(20) arranged on one side of the front end module carrier. The hood latch consists of: a hood latch body(22) arranged on one top side of the front end module carrier; a hood latch hook(21) integrally formed on the top of the hood latch body; and a hood latch fixing bar(24) formed on both sides of the hood latch body in one body.
