<p>The present invention relates to a process for preparation of Cu-based brazing alloys for joining steel components. The present invention particularly relates to a process development for preparation of rapidly solidified Cu based brazing alloys for high strength steel joints. The present invention will be useful for the joining of steel components. A process comprises mixing the pure element of copper, nickel, manganese and chromium to obtain general alloy formula Cu100-x-y-zMnxNiyCrz where x may have the rage between 30 to 50, y may have the range between 5 to 15 and z may have the range between 1 to 5.</p> |
