PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cross-channel residual prediction for video processing.SOLUTION: There are provided a system, an apparatus, and a method including determining a prediction residual of a channel of video data and determining, by using the prediction residual of a first channel, a prediction residual for a second channel of the video data.
