The present invention relates to a fibre material, in particular to an acetic nitrile fibre and a preparation method therefor. The acetic nitrile fibre is composed of polyacrylonitrile and cellulose acetate, wherein the mass ratio of the cellulose acetate to the polyacrylonitrile is an arbitrary ratio, preferably 15 wt％-35 wt％ : 65 wt％-85 wt％, and more preferably 15 wt％-30 wt％ : 70 wt％-85 wt％. The acetic nitrile fibre provided by the present invention has improved the defects that an acrylic fibre is poor in hygroscopicity and easy to generate static electricity; improved the drawbacks that the pure acetate fibre is low in strength and poor in serviceability; at the same time, the comprehensive performance of the acetic nitrile fibre provided by the present invention is good.
