The present invention discloses a data transmission method and device, comprising: with regard to a specific frequency band, and within different time units, a base station configures according to TDD or FDD an uplink frequency resource used for transmitting uplink data, and a downlink frequency resource used for transmitting downlink data, respectively; said base station uses the configured downlink frequency resource to send data to a user equipment (UE), and uses the configured uplink frequency resource to receive uplink data sent by said UE; thus TDD and FDD are both used to configure uplink and downlink frequency resources in different time units on the same frequency band in such a way that in a situation of high frequency and large bandwidth, uplink and downlink frequency resources are flexibly adjusted on the same frequency band and in different time units, so as to satisfy the requirements of uplink and downlink service data and effectively improve the utilization of system frequency resources. |
