PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, when a plurality of types of irradiation light beams with different spectra are sequentially applied to a subject, a frequency of applying white light to the subject is reduced, thereby lowering a refresh rate of an image of a subject irradiated with the white light.SOLUTION: The light source apparatus includes: a light source for exiting white light; a rotary turret on which a plurality of types of specific-wavelength light passage areas that take out light with different wavelength bands from the white light entering from the light source, are aligned in a circumferential direction and white light passage areas for passing the white light are disposed in the circumferential direction, with their aligned between respective specific-waveform light passage areas; and drive means that rotates the rotary turret so as to alternately insert the specific-waveform light passage areas and the white-light passage areas in a white light optical path at timing synchronized with a prescribed imaging period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
