PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing polyethylene terephthalate flakes in which resins other than PET can be efficiently removed when manufacturing PET flakes from multi-layer PET bottles having a layer composed of the resin other than PET to provide the PET flakes to a recycling process.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing PET flakes is used for providing multi-layer PET bottles, which have a layer composed of PET and a layer containing a resin having a thermal expansion coefficient different from that of PET, to a recycling process, and includes at least a process for pulverizing the multi-layer PET bottles, a process for heating the pulverized material, and a selection process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
