PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detecting system capable of highly accurately detecting a position of an object, and to provide a position detecting device and a position detecting method.SOLUTION: A position detecting system of an embodiment comprises a first observation unit, a second observation unit, a likelihood calculation unit, and a determination unit. The first observation unit observes objects in a prescribed space in time series, and generates a first observation signal per time series. The second observation unit observes objects in time series in a method different from the first observation unit, and generates a second observation signal per time series. The likelihood calculation unit calculates a first likelihood distribution according to the first observation signal generated by the first observation unit, calculates a second likelihood distribution according to the second observation signal generated by the second observation unit, and calculates a third likelihood distribution on the basis of the calculated first and second likelihood distributions. The determination unit determines the positions of the objects in the prescribed space on the basis of the third likelihood distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
