PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine liquefied gas tank which enables carrying capacity of liquefied gas to be increased compared to a spherical tank and can facilitate design taking advantage of the spherical tank, and to provide a liquefied gas carrier mounted with the marine liquefied gas tank.SOLUTION: A marine liquefied gas tank which is a pressure container symmetrical about a vertical central axis, comprises: an upper tank body with an open lower end section; and a lower tank body with an open upper end section. A shape of a vertical cross-section passing through the central axis of either one of the upper tank body or the lower tank body coincides with a trajectory expressed by the following equation (1): |x/r|+|y/r|=1...(1), where ris a radius of the upper end or the lower end of either one of the tank bodies, ris a height of either one of the tank bodies, and m is a constant satisfying 2<m<3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
