PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing an epoxy resin foam easily in an on-site execution level, the foam which has a uniform and dense cellular structure under the atmosphere of near the freezing point to ordinary temperature even if a foaming agent is not added or an external heating is not applied. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the epoxy resin foam comprises, in hardening an epoxy resin composition obtained by blending an epoxy resin (A) and a hardener (B), generating low molecular weight compounds by the reaction of the epoxy resin (A) and the hardener (B) and evaporating the low molecular compounds by the reaction heat to lead to foaming.
