PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter unit with a high dust removing effect by holding the strength of a filter medium. SOLUTION: The filter unit comprises the filter medium 21 folded in a mounting fold shape, a frame 20a for fixing the filter medium 21, and a reinforcing rib 20b provided between the peaks of the filter medium 21 in order to reinforce the filter medium 21, the reinforcing rib 20b has a notched part 22. Dust removing means to be slid with the reinforcing rib 20b as a guide is provided. Thus, dust stuck to the filter medium 21 is easily removed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
