PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, efficiently detecting image data containing a predetermined image in retaining image data to be retrieved. SOLUTION: In the image processor, object image data to be retrieved is acquired, and the acquired object image data is divided to a plurality of comparison object blocks according to a predetermined division reference. It is determined whether an image contained in each comparison object block is similar to a predetermined inspection image or not, and predetermined processing is executed based on the determination result.
