摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method capable of measuring the contour of a round bar-shaped work at high precision efficiently by reducing focus position adjustment in an imaging device. SOLUTION: This method comprises a supporting process to support a work 70 in rotatable state with a rotation axis Co as a center with turning the axis Ra and the rotation axis Co of the round bar-shape 70 at least to the same direction, a computing process of the rotation locus of the work 70 with the rotation axis Co as a center based on the planning data of the work 70, an arranging process of arranging the imaging device and the work 70 face to face so as to adjust focus on the measured part of the work 70 with setting the optical axis of the imaging device orthogonally to the axis Ra of the work 70 based on the computing results at the computing process, and an imaging process of imaging a measured part of the arranged work 70.
