PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vibration data communication method of railway vehicles for simplifying configuration of vibration measuring device in substations to achieve cost reduction in system, while inhibiting affect by electric noise in data communication to enhance communication accuracy. SOLUTION: This is the vibration data communication method of railway vehicles for communicating vibration data between each substation 3 which receives vibration data from the vibration measuring devices installed in each compartment 1A, 1B, ... of a railway train and key station 2. In this method, specific substation is called through the key station 2, the specific substation receives vibration data and returns it to the key station 2 as digital conversion value, arithmetic operation of ride quality is performed from vibration data collected and stored in the key station 2, and these above steps are sequentially repeated to evaluate ride quality level. Thereby each substation needs only to receive vibration data and return it to the key station as digital value, while expensive processor may be installed only in the key station because the arithmetic operation of ride quality is performed only in the key station by using vibration data collected and stored from each substation, leading to simplification of system and cost reduction.
