PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater video camera or the like capable of automatically recording clear sound without performing troublesome operations when photographing moving images underwater. SOLUTION: The underwater video camera comprises: a microphone 4 for collecting surrounding sound and outputting sound signals; a water pressure sensor 5 for detecting a surrounding water pressure and outputting a result; a sound signal processor 7 for performing filtering processing by a filter whose characteristics are changed corresponding to the output of the water pressure sensor to the output of the microphone; and a recorder 8 for recording the sound signals outputted by the sound signal processor.
