PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system capable of rewriting a program in a short time for a plurality of devices without causing extra cost. SOLUTION: Provided is the image formation system including an image forming apparatus, a plurality of option devices attached to the image forming apparatus, and a communication line connecting the image forming apparatus and the plurality of option devices so as to communicate with each other, the image formation system being characterized in that the image forming apparatus transfers a rewrite command for the program controlling the option devices and the same program controlling the option devices to the plurality of option devices simultaneously through the communication line and the plurality of option devices each receives the same program and rewrites the current program into the received program according to the rewriting command transferred from the image forming apparatus.
