PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser module with a wavelength monitor having a compact wavelength monitor that can be housed in an LD module of a coaxial package (CAN package). SOLUTION: The laser module with the wavelength monitor includes a laser diode, and a light receiving element for detecting the light emitted by the laser diode by means of a light output according to the wavelength of the light, wherein a light transmission plate is disposed that is provided with a reflection lattice on a light receiving side of the light receiving element. The light transmission plate is configured to guide the light reflected from the reflection lattice to focus onto the light receiving element, while causing the light reflected from the reflection lattice to reflect off at least one of the upper and lower surface.
