PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandwich molded product having a high fire retardant effect by a reduced amount of a fire retardant, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The sandwich molded product 1 is composed of a skin layer 2 comprising a fire retardant resin containing a halogen type fire retardant and an inside layer 3 comprising a non-fire retardant resin and the fire retardant characteristics of the fire retardant is 1/8 inch and V-0 or above in UL fire retardant standards. Preferably, the fire retardant resin of the skin layer 2 is a polycarbonate type fire retardant resin composed of a polycarbonate and a silicon copolymer and the non-fire retardant resin of the inside layer 3 is a polycarbonate type resin. The sandwich molded product 1 shows excellent fire retardancy almost equal to that of a molded product wholly composed of a fire retardant resin though only the skin layer 2 is formed of the fire retardant resin.
