Managing application events

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing application events are provided. In embodiments, a notifier is received that indicates a usage of an application installed on a user device and a date associated with the usage. A verification notifier is also received that verifies that the user device is registered in association with the application and indicates a date associated with the verification. The date associated with the usage and the date associated with the verification are compared to determine whether the dates occur within a predetermined time period relative to one another. In such a case, it might be determined that a provider of the application installed on the user device should be rewarded.

1. One or more computer-readable media not being a signal per se having computer-useable instructions embodied thereon for performing a method for managing application events, the method comprising:
receiving at a network provider, a first notifier having a date associated with the first notifier, the first notifier indicates a usage of an application installed on a user device; receiving at the network provider, a second notifier having a date associated with the second notifier; determining if the date associated with the first notifier and the date associated with the second notifier are within a predetermined time period relative to one another based on comparing the date associated with the first notifier and the date associated with the second notifier; determining a credit to apply to a provider of the application, from the network provider, when the date associated with the first notifier and the date associated with the second notifier are within the predetermined time period relative to one another, wherein the network provider supports the application of the provider via the user device on a network service of the network provider; and applying the credit from the network provider, to the provider of the application.
