PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a coil from being partially caught by a press die at the time of press molding of the coil.SOLUTION: A forming die for a press of a parallel rectangular coil 4 includes: a storage part 13 for storing the parallel rectangular coil 4; and a pair of guide surfaces 23 provided to face the long sides of the parallel rectangular coil 4 and sandwich the parallel rectangular coil 4 therebetween, as a wall for forming the storage part 13. The upper part 22b of the guide surfaces is inclined inward. As a result, even when the coil has a twisted shape, a twisted part of the coil is guided into the storage part by the use of inclination of the guide surfaces, so that press forming can be conducted satisfactorily.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
